Meet your Instructors
Miss Ethereal
Ethereal is a movement and theater artist currently running the kids theater programs for with Tacoma Arts Live! and Tacoma Playhouse. Specializing in all things live theater, including:
Improv, character work, vocals, choreography and playwright workshops.
She has worked as a producer, set designer and actor for the Vivace Performing Arts Group in Tokyo, Japan. She is also the owner of Ethereal Chaos Productions, a local production company for stage performances.
She has appeared on screen in National ad campaigns for the NFL and on stage touring productions of The Nutcracker Ballet and "The Best of Times is Now," a show she co-wrote and independently produced.
She was the recipient of the Young Playwrights Award in 2012 and has since taught over 50 workshops helping young minds shape and translate their stories from the page to the stage.
You can find her performing along side Akasha as well as her own stages around Seattle and the South Sound.
Jenni
Jenni is the owner of Akasha Aerial Arts and your aerial instructor for the summer! Her love for aerial arts is what motivates her to curate lesson plans tailored just for our little flyers! She has trained and won many medals by leading students ages 6 - 99 through national and international competition. She loves passing on the joy of aerial training through play and discovery. Aerials can be demanding, making it fun and exciting for our up and coming lil' aerialist can help create a passion for future strengthening, conditioning and movement training.
